Understand what a blend means.When you purchase 100% Kona Estate
Coffee – you aren’t buying a blend! Blend can mean just a few
beans per pound, just a handful. As an example; here in Hawaii, coffee
producers are required to include only 10% pure Kona coffee in their "kona
blends." In California a Kona blend may legally
contain as little as one bean per pound! The rest of the "Kona
Blend" may be coffee from any other origin.
When you buy an Estate packaged Kona Coffee you are
receiving coffee of a guaranteed high quality. It is only with estate labeled
coffees that one farmer oversees the complete growing and processing phases of
coffee production.
